Allentown Symphony Romeo And Juliet
Join the orchestra as it performs four different musical interpretations of Shakespeare's famous love story, Romeo And Juliet. David Diamond, Sergei Prokofiev, Hector Berlioz and Leonard Bernstein have all set this story to music. One chose to tell it as a concert suite, one as a ballet, another as a choral symphony, and finally one as a Broadway Musical. Each brings their own artistic stamp and musical voice to their compositions.
